Imparting one of the most hallmark flavors of Spanish cuisine, Pimentón, or Spanish paprika, is made from harvested red chile peppers that are smoked over Encia Oak for 15 days. The pimentón is then ground on traditional granite millstones into a fine powder. La Dalia, founded in 1913, is a family-owned company that has been crafting the finest pimentón for generations. This Pimentón de La Vera has the Denominación de Origen (D.O.). A milder version of Dalia's paprika, the sweet version can brighten meats, poultry, and fish dishes. We mix a 50/50 of both hot and sweet pimentón and put it on pretty much everything.
